Abstract

Rozenbero, M. C. & Stormorken, H. Comparison of Glass Adhesiveness and Rate of Aggregation of Blood Platelets. Scand. J. clin. Lab. Invest. 19 82–85, 1967. The rate of aggregation of human blood platelets as measured by an optical density method is compared to adhesiveness in a glass bead column. No close correlation between these two tests is found. No difference is observed between normal subjects and a group of patients with previous myocardial infarction using either method as an index of platelet function.
