Abstract
Calf peak volume time never exceeded 20 seconds in legs without major stenosis and was never below this limit in legs with femoral artery obstructions. In legs with other obstruction levels exceptions were found. Close correlation to claudication distance was not found though comparison was made for each obstruction level. The leg with most compromized circulation could be disclosed in 32 out of 34 cases with bilateral obstructive arterial disease. The reproducibility of peak volume time from day to day was good, with very few exceptions.
