Abstract

The results of one hundred gel filtration experiments on Sephadex G-200 are reviewed. Using human serum albumin monomer as a calibrating stan dard and a flow rate of 2 cm per hour, the distribution coefficient for albu min and the effective pore radius of the gel show highly reproducible values with a coefficient of variation of about 5 per cent.
