Abstract
A 34-year old subfertile man with oligoterato-spermia and low urinary gonadotropin litre was treated with gonadotropin for 10 weeks. Immediately after the end of treatment he was found to have a malignant testicular teratoma of intermediate type B. The possibility of the tumour having been induced by treatment with gonadotropin is discussed but regarded as less than likely.
