Abstract

A patient with an intrarenal arteriovenous fistula following nephrolithotomy is reported. The main clinical symptom was hematuria. The value of selective renal arteriography for diagnosis and for planning of operation is stressed. Surgical management of intrarenal arteriovenous fistulas consists of ligation of the vessels feeding and draining the shunt.
