Abstract

A case of unilateral renal cortical necrosis with contralateral hydronephrosis due to infiltrating carcinoma of the bladder is reported. It is suggested that the failure of glomerular microthrombi to locate in the hydroneph-rotic kidney may have been due to an altered intrarenal vascular pattern.
