Summary
We report a case in which an acardiac monster presented an unusual obstetric problem. An acardiac monster was first reported by Benedetti (1533). Das (1902) classified hemicardias cimperfectly formed heart) and more specifically holocardius (absence of heart) as two major groups. This abnormality has been termed chorioangiopagus parasiticus, since this defines the entire dependency of the monster or the blood supply of its normal identical twin.
