Vaginal delivery after two caesarean sections

Pages 48-49 | Published online: 02 Jul 2009

Summary

The dictum ‘twice a caesarean-always a caesarean’ is often quoted (Donald, 1974). Recently, Lawson (1987) in Australia and others in the United States (Stovall et al 1987; Farmakides et ai, 1987) have suggested that a high incidence of vaginal delivery can be achieved with safety.

A planned vaginal delivery after two caesarean sections is reported.
