Abstract
In honor of the sixtieth birthday of Professor William F. Hoyt, M.D., Professor of Ophthalmology and Neurosurgery, a meeting was planned and organized by Creig Hoyt, M.D., Professor of Ophthalmology and Pediatrics under the sponsorship of the Department of Ophthalmology, University of California Medical School San Francisco, California on December 11-12, 1986. This meeting was to highlight the latest advances in the field of Neuro-Ophthalmology and focus on new developments, particularly with reference to neuroimaging techniques such as positron emission tomography (PET) and magnetic resonance imaging (MRI).
