Spontaneous haemorrhage in a cavernoma associated with a suprasellar meningioma: An unusual post-operative complication

Abstract

Cavernoma and suprasellar meningioma are rarely associated. We describe a patient, whose recovery after removal of the meningioma was complicated by haemorrhage from the cavernoma. This occurrence has not been previously reported.
