Abstract
The change of the classification of homosexuality from being considered a pathology per se will have a positive effect in reducing the numbers of homosexuals presenting with orientation-related problems. That is the opinion of the present authors Michael Ross and Annikki Talikka. Michael W. Ross, Ph. D. is now in the Department of Psychiatry, School of Medicine, Flinders University of South Australia while Dr. Soc. Sci. Annikki Talikka works at the Finnish Academy of Sciences.
