Abstract

In this work we report the results of experiments performed on vesicles of bipolar lipids extracted from the thermophilic archaeobacterium Sulfolobus solfataricus These results are compared with similar data obtained with synthetic compounds which mimic the structure of natural archaeobacterial lipid molecules.
