Abstract

When harvesting cells for macrophage cell cultures, our laboratory sought a method which would simultaneously confirm cell identity and allow enumeration of these cells. Such a procedure would reduce the time needed to assess the readiness of the cells for culturing (measuring their viability, and indicating their identity as well as their number).
