Videotaping and Writing About Patients: Lessons from the “Gloria Films”

, MD
Pages 277-280 | Published online: 02 Oct 2012

Notes

* Carl Rogers and his wife, Helen Rogers, wrote 20 pieces of correspondence to Gloria from 1965, after the film was made, to 1979, the year Gloria died. Some of these letters were handwritten by Rogers, and some were dictated to his personal secretary. Gloria's correspondence to Rogers includes a series of lengthy, intimate letters and at least two, possibly four, Father's Day cards.
