Addictive Behavior Among Young People in Ukraine: A Pilot Study

Abstract

The AUDIT-like tests system was created for complex assessment and evaluation of the addictive status of adolescents in a Ukrainian population. The AUDIT-like tests system has been created from the Alcohol Use Disorders Identification Test (AUDIT) developed by the World Health Organization. The AUDIT-like tests were minimally modified from the original AUDIT. Attention was brought to similarities between stages of different addictions (TV, computer games, the Internet, etc.) and alcohol addiction. Seventeen AUDIT-like tests were created to detect the different types of chemical and non-chemical addictions.

RÉSUMÉ

Les comportements addictives entre jeunes d'Ukraine.

Le système de tests à la modèle du AUDIT a été créé pour l’évaluation de dépendence des jeunes dans une population ukrainienne. Le système de tests a été créé en vertu de ‘Alcohol Use Disorders Identification Test’ (AUDIT) de l'Organisation Mondiale de la Santé. L'AUDIT a été modifié minimalement pour créer les tests. L'attention a été portée à des similitudes entre les étapes des différentes toxicomanies (TV, jeux vidéo, Internet etc.) et l'alcoolisme. Dix-sept tests ont été créés afin que indetifier les types différents de dépendances chimiques et non-chimiques.

Comportamiento adictivo entre jóvenes personas en Ucrania.

El sistema de tests a modelo de AUDIT se ha creado para evaluación del estado adictivo de jóvenes en una población ucraniana. El sistema de tests se ha creado desde ‘Alcohol Use Disorders Identification Test’ (AUDIT) de la Organización Mundial de la Salud. AUDIT era mínimamente modificados para crear los tests. Atención fue traído a similitudes entre los estadios de distintas adicciones (TV, videojuegos, Internet etc.) y alcoholismo. Diecisiete tests fueron creadas para detectar los diferentes tipos de adicciones químicas y non-químicas.
