Abstract
As in other countries of the world, drug and narcotic abuse in Switzerland is rising. In 1968 only about 100 cases were investigated, while in 1969 there were 521, and for the first six months of 1970, 886. But these figures alone do not describe the whole situation. Certainly more people are using drugs now than before, but also investigation by the police has become more intensive and efficient.
