Abstract
This study evaluated Florida's School of Alcohol Studies. Students' attitudes, knowledge, and follow-up behavior were assessed to determine the course's impact. The sample contained 172 students attending the school and 144 matched subjects not attending. Results showed that students made favorable after over before gains in attitudes and knowledge as well as alcoholism activities. Correlations on general information about alcoholism with follow-up experience and community services were significant. Short-term training was recommended but it needs to be viewed in the context of the state's alcoholism effort.
