Abstract

There continues to be a need to develop predictive scaling models to predict future drug abuse among a currently nonusing population. Recent efforts have been devoted to identifying personological characteristics to make the prediction. This study provides evidence that the indicators of potential drug abuse within the population lie in the province of a child's perception rather than in demographic or sociological classification.
