Abstract

The main goal of this paper is to critically compare the drug addict's family of origin as viewed by existent literature with results obtained through an empirical survey of addicts enrolled in a methadone program. Our findings strongly suggest that the manner in which we regard addicts' families of origin must be drastically revised.
