Linda Ryan
Linda Ryan, R.N., C.A.R.N., M.A., is currently a Ph.D, student in nursing at Loyola University in Chicago, Illinois. Prior to doctoral study, she was the manager of a 46-bed medical unit at Resurrection Medical Center for 18 years. She has served as a case monitor for medical-surgical inpatients with alcoholrelated problems. In this role, she monitored quality and cost issues for this patient population. Linda has developed, implemented, and evaluated protocols and tools for this clientele, which have been demonstrated to improve patient outcomes and lower costs.
