Abstract

Sudab, a reputed drug of Unani system of medicine, is obtained from Ruta graveolens Linn., to which also the name titlee is given. This name is also given to Euphorbia dracunculoides, which is now the main source of sudab. The present paper describes the differentiating features of these two plant species.
