Plants Used as Folk-Medicine in Jhansi and Lalitpur Sections of Bundelkhand, Uttar Pradesh

Abstract

Fourteen locally available plants used by the natives as knowledge transmitted from one generation to the next are described. Local and Sanskrit names are given wherever available; also habit; part used; method of preparation and administration for treating diseases; and distribution in the Indian sub-continent.
