Abstract

In vitro tests on rat uterus preparation, extracts of S. asoca and R. arboreum did not show oxytocic activity. R. arboreum has never been tested for oxytocic activity. S. asoca has been tested twice previously with negative results and once with positive results. The latter could not be confirmed.
