Abstract

Five extracts of Ononis pubescens L. were screened by a multidimensional pharmacological test in conscious rats. A depressive action on the central nervous system was observed for all five extracts together with the appearance of specific pharmacological actions (analgesia, hypoglycemia) depending on the extract studied.
