Abstract
An ethnobotanical exploration was carried out from 1980 to 1986 in Chittoor District of Andhra Pradesh, one of the peninsular states of India. In the present study, information on 125 plant crude drugs currently used by the tribals and folklore for different types of diseases was recorded apart from the mode of living, customs, rituals etc., of folklore and tribals of this area.
