Aporphine Alkaloids from Goniothalamus Species

Abstract

Goniothalamin is found in the bark, wood and roots of Coniothalamus tapis. G. scortechinii and G. fulvus. Two aporphine alkaloids, liriodenine and oxostaphanine, have also been isolated from the wood and roots of G. tapis and G. scortechinii.
