Abstract
From the aerial part of Salvia syriaco the very rare scutellarein-7,4′-dimethyl ether was isolated for the first time from Salvia species. Also isolated were apigenin-7, 4′-dimethyl ether, salvigenin, 6-methoxyluteolin-7, 3′.4′-trimethyl ether and eupatorin. All compounds were identified by spectroscopic methods.
