Abstract
The analysts of the volatile components in the essential oil of Artemisia petrosa Frish (Compositae) by GC AND GC-MS demonstrated the presence of at least 41 compounds. Of these, 35 were identified, corresponding to 98.3% of the oil. The major compounds were 1,8-cineole, (3-thujone AND borneol.
