Abstract

The seed-borne effect of discrete poles of a magnet was studied on the agroproduction of mustard crop. The study revealed a differential effect of magnetic polarities (north and south poles) on the mustard crop. The effect has been attributed to magnetically induced, long-term cytogenetic and physiological transformations produced in the exposed seeds.
