Abstract

We, the Editor, authors and Publisher have retracted the following article:

Liu, C.Z., Wei, G.H., Hu, J.H., & Liu, X.Y. Complete mitochondrial genome of the Swan Goose (Anser cygnoides L.) and its phylogenetic analysis. Mitochondrial DNA Part A 27:4 (2016) 2427-2428. 10.3109/19401736.2015.1030627.

The above article has been retracted as, subsequent to publication, duplication has been found in the article content and figure 1 has been reused from the following earlier published article:

Mu Chun-Yu, Huang Zheng-Yang, Chen Yang, Wang Bin, Su Yan-Hui, Li Yang, Sun Zhi-Ming, Xu Qi, Zhao Wen-Ming, Chen Guo-Hong, ‘Completely Sequencing and Gene Organization of the Anser cygnoides Mitochondrial Genome’. Journal of Agricultural Biotechnology 22:12 (2014) 1482-1493. 10.3969/j.issn.1674-7968.2014.12.003.

The authors omitted to acknowledge the original publication of the mitogenome sequence (accession number KJ124555) in the Journal of Agricultural Biotechnology article, and presented this research as their own.

We have been informed in our decision-making by our policy on publishing ethics and integrity and the COPE guidelines on retractions.

The retracted article will remain online to maintain the scholarly record, but it will be digitally watermarked on each page as “Retracted”.
