Pages 4-15 | Published online: 01 Oct 2014

Abstract

An intensive fluency program for stutterers has been integrated into the normal activities of the Department of Speech and Hearing of the Royal Melbourne Hospital without interrupting the major duties of the Speech Therapists which are to attend to the diagnosis and treatment of communication disorders of the inpatients. An attempt has been made to measure the effectiveness of the program.
