Intravascular Coagulation in Infection: A Study by Radio-Fibrinogen

Abstract

Six cases of septicaemia studied by means of a radio-fibrinogen catabolism study showed evidence of intravascular coagulation. Three of the cases developed acute renal failure. A rare case of post-varicella phlegmasia cerulea dolens has also been studied.
