Hepatitis in Secondary Syphilis

Abstract

A case of anicteric hepatitis in association with secondary syphilis is described. The most outstanding feature, which agrees with the few published cases, was a very pronounced elevation of serum alkaline phosphatases. The patient also had osteolytic processes in the skull. A prompt normalization occurred after treatment with penicillin.
