Histochemische Untersuchungen Über Das Gold Bei Der Golddermatitis Vor Und Nach Bal-Behandlung

Summary

In gold dermatitis dense black granula are revealed in the basal skin epithelia and the subcutaneous mast cells by the use of the sulfide silver method. It is very probable that we have to do with gold deposits, but not gold sulfide. During BAL treatment the granula disappeared in one of 5 cases examined, in three there was a clear diminution, and in one case there were no histochemic changes. During this BAL treatment the dermatitis subsided.

Zusammenfassung

Bei der Golddermatitis lassen sich mit der Sulfidsilbermethode in den basalen Hautepithelien und den subkutanen Mastzellen dichte schwarze Granula nachweisen. Mit grösster Wahrscheinlichkeit handelt es sich um Goldablagerungen, doch nicht um Goldsulfid. Bei 1 von 5 untersuchten Fällen verschwanden sie während BAL-Behandlung, bei 3 trat eine deutliche Verminderung ein, während 1 Fall keine histochemischen Veränderungen zeigte. Die Dermatitis ging während dieser BAL-Behandlung zurück.

Résumé

Dans la chrysodermatite on peut déceler par la méthode du sulfure d'argent des granules noirs denses dans les tissus épithéliaux basaux et les mastocytes hypodermiques. Il s'agit très vraisemblablement de dépôts d'or, mais non pas de sulfure d'or. Au cours du traitement BAL dans un des 5 cas examinés les dépôts en question disparurent, dans 3 cas on constata une diminution nette, tandis que dans un autre cas il n'y eut aucune modification histochimique. La dermatite a subi une régression au cours du cette traitement BAL.
