Theories in medical education: Towards creating a union between educational practice and research traditions

Trevor Gibbs Association for Medical Education in Europe, UK; TREVOR GIBBS MD, SFHEA, FRCGP is a WHO & RCGP Scotland consultant in Medical Education, Primary Care and Adolescent Health, and Development Officer for the Association of Medical Education in Europe (AMEE). He is a general practitioner by training and has extensive experience in developing medical curricula and family medicine programmes within the UK and many other parts of the world.
