Abstract
The solifuge Paragaleodes melanopygus Birula, 1905 is redescribed based on new material collected from Van and Hakkari provinces in eastern Turkey. The male is described for the first time. The details of both sexes’ characteristics are described, photographed, and compared to known species of the genus Paragaleodes Kraepelin, 1899.
