Houda Belkhiri
Houda Belkhiri: A PhD student and researcher at the Department of English, University of Algiers-2, Algeria. She participated in many international conferences, mainly in the UK and Algeria. Her research interests intersect with Western Philosophy and the image of the clown in literature. She recently published Hdidouane: An Algerian Clown and a Marginalized Comic Icon and The Dionysian Clown in Movies: The Homicidal Joker in the Dark Knight (2008), Batman the Killing Joke (2016) and Joker (2019).
