*Slight conjunctival injection (grade 1, some vessels definitely injected) that does not clear within 24 hr is not considered a significant change. This level of change is inconsequential as far as representing physical damage to the eye and can be seen to occur naturally for unexplained reasons in otherwise normal rabbits.
