Leah Shelleda

Leah Shelleda is Professor Emerita of Humanities at the College of Marin in Northern California. Her poems have appeared in many journals and anthologies. Her first chapbook, A Flash of Angel, won the Blue Light Press prize, and a second chapbook, Adorning the River, won the Red Berry Editions award. A book of poems, After the Jug Was Broken, and her anthology, The Book of Now: Poetry for the Rising Tide, were published by Fisher King Press. Leah is a gardener, a grandma, an activist, and a ritualist.
