Author requested to update the below listed corrections into the proof of this article which has been updated and republished to online accordingly.
In the abstract page 50, it is written “The intermediate (‘day-to-day’) coefficient of variation was 3.5 and 1.0% for heparin-plasma-calprotectin at 0.52mg/L and 3.53 mg/L, respectively”. Instead of 3.53 mg/L, the correct figure should be 9.67 mg/L, as given in Table 2, page 53.
In the abstract page 50, it is written “Health-related reference limits were 0.470-3.02 mg/L for calprotectin in heparin-plasma, 50.8-182 mg/L for calprotectin in heparin-blood, 0.534-2.41% for the ratio between them and 24.7-33.3 pg for the mean amount of calprotectin per neutrophil.” The correct numbers should be 0.465-3.03 mg/L, 47.1-183 mg/L, 0.530-2.46% and 24.3-33.4 pg, as given in Table 4, page 54.
In the footnote of Table 4, page 54, it was written “The ratio (dimensionless) between the concentration in plasma and blood is from measurements in heparin-plasma and heparin-blood”. Instead of “dimensionless”, the correct word should be “percentage”.
