Abstract

We present 7 children with TBM (3 children who received a higher dose of steroids and and 4 children who received prednisolone at 2 mg/kg/d). Patients with high-dose steroids had no new tuberculomas on follow-up whereas all those on a regular dose of steroids developed tuberculomas within 2–8 months of therapy.
