Abstract

Palladium(II)‐catalyzed coupling of terminal alkynes with unactivated aryl iodides occurs at room temperature in good to excellent yields in the presence of tetrabutylammounium bromide as additive and piperidine as base in a tetrahydrofuran–water solution without addition of any cuprous salts.
