The first sentence of the article's abstract should read: “3‐Alkoxy‐2,4,5‐triphenylfurans were oxidized to 2‐alkoxy‐1,3,4‐triphenyl‐2‐butene‐1,4‐diones with 2,3‐dichloro‐5,6‐dicyano‐1,4‐benzoquinone (DDQ) in t‐BuOH.
The second sentence of the first paragraph within the text should read: “Therefore, synthetic methods for the 3‐furanone and 2‐alkoxy‐2‐butene‐1,4‐diones skeletons have been developed.”
