Abstract
Fused-benzothiazines are of much interest for various fields of science as these scaffolds demonstrate a wide spectrum of biological applications like anti-microbial, anti-malarial, anti-cancer, anti-viral, ant-oxidant, anti-inflammatory, etc. These heterocycles are often constructed via formation of C–N/C–S bonds in the presence of catalysts such as transition metals, molecular iodine, etc. or under catalyst-free conditions. In this review, we have focused different methodologies for the synthesis of fused-benzothiazines reported during 2015–2019.
