There was an error in the paragraph on “Predictor variables” on page 502 of the original article. The text “receptive vocabulary” should have read “expressive vocabulary”. The corrected paragraph is shown below. The author apologizes for this error.

Predictor variables

Three variables were examined for their ability to predict variance in word variability and accuracy. These included categorization according to lexical AoA and phonological complexity (four sets of target words), age of the participants (in months) and expressive vocabulary (percentile rank from the CDI, Second Edition).
