Welcome to Legal Reference Services Quarterly, volume 42, issues 3 and 4. I’m thrilled to announce that we will be publishing several insightful articles from the symposium DEI and Law Librarians in these combined issues. In March 2023, the University of San Diego Law School hosted the symposium. Seven articles will appear in this combined issue and the other seven articles will be available in volume 43, combined Issues 1 and 2, in early 2024.
I would like to express our gratitude to Judith Lihosit, Professor of Legal Research, Assistant Dean, and Director of the University of San Diego’s Legal Research Center, for organizing the symposium and writing a substantive introduction to the special issue. We also wanted to express our heartfelt thanks to all the knowledgeable commentators, reviewers, and symposium participants for sharing their passion, experience, and expertise on this important topic.
