In the article by Adomaviciute D et al published in the March/April issue of the Scandinavian Journal of Rheumatology (Scand J Rheumatol 2008;37:113–9) the prevalence estimate for women published on page 115 in the Results section, the second last paragraph, was incorrect. The correct estimate is italicized below: The age‐standardized prevalence of SpA was 1.36% (95% CI 0.75–2.15) in men and 0.40% (95% CI 0.21–0.66) in women. It was higher in the younger age groups and decreased significantly after age 64.
