Madeline Roycroft
Madeline Roycroft recently completed a PhD in musicology at the Melbourne Conservatorium of Music, University of Melbourne. Her thesis examined the reception of Dmitri Shostakovich’s music and its intersection with politics in twentieth-century France. Madeline coordinates the editorial committee of Context: Journal of Music Research, and her research has recently been published in Twentieth-Century Music. She tutors and lectures in music history at the Melbourne Conservatorium of Music, and is research assistant at the Éditions de l’Oiseau-Lyre Archive, University of Melbourne.
