Graham Strahle

Graham Strahle is currently an academic staff member in the Elder Conservatorium of Music at the University of Adelaide and has formerly held positions in the music departments of the University of New England and the University of Queensland, Australia. His PhD dissertation from the University of Adelaide was on ‘Fantasy and Music in Sixteenth- and Seventeenth-Century England’ and his book An Early Music Dictionary: Musical Terms from British Sources 1500–1740 was published by Cambridge University Press (1995). He is active as a music critic and as a performer of the viola da gamba.
