European Society for Therapeutic Radiation Oncology (ESTRO). Vienna, Austria.

ESTRO is an interdisciplinary society where radiation oncologists, medical physicists, radiobiologists, brachytherapists and radiation therapists aspire to join forces with other organisations in the oncology field that share ESTRO’s vision of excellence in cancer treatment. At ESTRO 36, attention will be drawn to the multidisciplinary and interdisciplinary components of our practice, with emphasis on the new opportunities that they represent for all professionals of oncology, not only in research but also in the daily care of patients.

ConRad 2017 – Global Conference on Radiation Topics – Preparedness, Response, Protection and Research. Munich, Germany. More details to follow.

As in 2015 there will be two key sessions introduced with a brief overview followed by several key lectures: The first one will give an update on the concept of “Biomarker of exposure and bioindicator of effect”. The second key session will summarize and update the current knowledge of the “Effects of electromagnetic fields”.

In the proven concept of this conference, further subjects comprise the presentation of new insights in radiation accident preparedness and management as well as new research findings in radiation epidemiology, medicine, biology, physics and radiation protection. This event offers the particular opportunity to bring together a broad spectrum of German and international experts, civilian and military, as a forum for professional and multidisciplinary exchange of experience and expertise in this particular domain. Special attendance is attached to the fact that these aspects will be presented in a comprehensive form for a broader audience thus facilitating the idea of continuous education.

Fifth International Conference on Radiation and Applications in Various Fields of Research 2017 (RAD2017). Budva, Montenegro.

RAD2017 provides a forum for researchers and professionals from various fields of biology, chemistry, physics, medicine, environmental protection, electronics, etc, involved with ionizing and non-ionizing radiation, as well as other areas connected to them, to exchange and discuss their findings and experiences. 4th International Conference on Radioecology and Environmental Radioactivity (ICRER). Berlin, Germany.

The conference will cover the acquisition of basic scientific knowledge in research dedicated to any human and wildlife exposure situations for a wide range of radioactive sources and scenarios (planned, existing and emergency situations), as well as identifying new societal needs along with technical requirements for regulators and industry.
